Klemen Strmšnik

Klemen is a geographer with a university diploma, who is particularly interested in geographic information systems and cartography. While still a student, he was already attracted to the constructive solution of environmental protection problems and the suitable positioning of human activities within the environment. Therefore it is no surprise, that he already assisted in the preparation of projects during the time of his studies. He joined the company in December 2006. Today, as a leader of projects in the field of environmental protection, he mostly devotes himself to the preparation of environmental reports and to programs for the equipping of building sites, as well as collaborating with evaluations of influences on the environment, vulnerability studies, protection of water sources and other environmental projects. He is constantly building on his knowledge in the area of geographic information systems (GIS) and uses it as a powerful tool in the process of environmental planning. He is the caretaker of our database and main user of GIS.



From a young age his greatest passion was travel, and as he always likes to share his experiences with others it is no surprise that he is an enthusiastic photographer. Within the circle of his young family he enjoys cooking and changes the nappies of the youngest, while his bicycle, basketball and skis ensure he doesn't lack in fitness for his field trips.
