OIKOS Development Consulting Ltd. is active in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro and in Serbia as well as in Slovenia.
Our clients range from international organizations (European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, European Investment Bank, European Agency for Reconstruction, KfW, Helsinki Watch, Embassies...) to domestic and foreign public institutions (Municipalities, Ministries, Public Agencies e.g. Environmental Agency of Republic of Slovenia, international development aid agencies such as UNDP, GTZ, SIDA, SNV...) as well as various associations and companies (Helios, Dinos, Farme Ihan, JUB, Hit, Ramboll, COWI, Environ, ERM, GOPA, DHV, …).
At present OIKOS has 28 full-time employees with broad range of knowledge and qualifications (management, economics, chemistry, biology, forestry, public administration, sociology, geography, ecology, physics, food technology etc.). OIKOS is present in the Montenegrin and Croatian market through its subsidiaries and project teams. In addition, the company has developed a wide network of external partners and companies which participate in our projects (Pristop, Technology Park Ljubljana, DDC Consulting & Engineering Ltd. ...).
In the past ten years, OIKOS Development Consulting Ltd. has actively participated in the process of preparing programs and projects for funding from the pre-accession funds as well as the Structural Funds. Until now we have participated in all types of calls for proposals for financial aid and in the last year alone prepared we have prepared projects of more than 200 million EUR total value. We successfully prepare and manage projects funded by various European Union funds and other funding sources; our projects range from management of public transport at the regional level to smaller projects such as reconstruction of public buildings and constructions of water supply systems.

Guidelines for candidates
We expect that the candidates:
- have at least a university degree or more,
- have at least 10 years of verifiable experience in the following sectors: water, air, chemicals, noise, transport, legislation on environmental protection - all sectors, Environmental Impact Assessment and Strategic Environmental Assessment, nature conservation and Management Plans for Protected Areas, consulting for construction businesses, land use planning, regional development programmes, national development programmes, local development programmes, management structures for the implementation of funding programmes, feasibility studies, cost-benefit analysis, socio-economic analysis; Project Cycle Management (PCM), organization of trainings and capacity building,
- are older than 25 years,
- can fluently speak Croatian, Serbian and at least English language (we reserve the right to verify the knowledge),
- are willing to travel abroad and spend there more than 120 working days per year,
- provide a reference list for proof of their skills and experience (we reserve the right to check the references) in the CV format only as attached below. CV must be completed in English.

Procedure:
- No contact person was assigned for this tender, we will not provide additional information to the candidates,
- We shall not reply to the candidates who will not meet the criteria and conditions,
- Suitable candidates will be offered in the coming months the possibility to work on our upcoming projects, but we reserve the rights to determine the terms and conditions of cooperation with each candidate individually. Employment according to the Employment Relationship Act is not a condition nor it is purpose of this invitation.
