Hurrah, we are coming of age!

On Sunday, November 25th 2007, Oikos will turn 18. Quite a good reason for a party, isn't it?

Who knows what the founders of the company were thinking about this day - a bunch of boyscouts, most of them barely of age themselves, who caught the opportunity of the changes of the system... In any case, today Oikos tribe is numerous and the youthful energy of the founders did not vanish, we are looking into the future that we are building on Oikos values.

Planning is a process in which we determine the current status of the territory, the region, municipality, company ... and the current needs. On this basis, we determine the measures for reaching the objectives and the appropriate projects i.e. the path to the desired state. Knowledge of the complete programming cycle is essential for successful development planning, which is our important advantage.

Environmental protection is one of the cornerstones of our activities and is reflected in the company's name. With its experience, knowledge, contacts at home and abroad, with its practical approach and way of thinking, Oikos provides services at all levels: from the integration of environmental objectives at the strategic level to environmental measures at the technical level.

Nature protection

We have an integrated approach to nature protection…

...as we believe that only this approach allows long-term effects and satisfaction of all stakeholders. In our opinion, nature protection is much more than preserving the current status, as today it represents a significant opportunity for the development of various areas. We actively involve all stakeholders in nature protection in order to jointly determine the objectives of protected areas and through them develop the necessary regimes, measures and methods to reach our goals.
